O’Reilly made his senior debut in the 2024 FA Community Shield against Manchester United on August 10, 2024. He scored his first goals for the club in an FA Cup match against Salford City on January 11, 2025, netting a brace in an 8–0 victory.
His performances have drawn comparisons to Manchester United’s Kobbie Mainoo, another young midfielder making waves in the Premier League.
